A Few Favorite High CBD Concentrates

Nectar Craft CBD Oil at Theorem Kenmore
High CBD Distillate, from Nectar Craft

Nectar Craft makes a variety of delicious, clean concentrates and cartridges. If you are interested in a solvent-free, high potency product that can be vaporized, consumed orally or used to make edibles, take a look at the high CBD distillates from this company!
Distillates are made by first removing the plant material via a hydrocarbon extraction (typically described as a BHO or PHO, very common types of concentrates made with either butane or propane as the solvent). Then, cannabinoids such as THC and CBD are further isolated from everything else in the starting product through a process called “short path distillation”. This involves heating THC and CBD to the point of vaporization, then collecting and consolidating these cannabinoids separately from all other materials in the starting hydrocarbon extraction. This means they have all solvents, terpenes, and plant material, including fats and waxes removed, giving it a very light and clear color and typically higher potency than many other types of concentrates.  Distillates are also activated, meaning they are psychoactive and bioavailable (easy for your body to break down and use efficiently) without adding heat, which makes them a great option for making your own edibles as it takes out the guesswork of heating times and temperatures. Terpenes, which are thought to be responsible for the therapeutic effects of cannabis, are usually reintroduced after the distillation process to “create” effects characteristic of different strains. This distillate, sold in 1 gram units, is packaged in a syringe with measurements along the side to make dosing easier for you!

Cannasol High CBD and Clean Green Certified
Cashy’s Honey Hash Ball from CannaSol

If you are looking for a concentrate that is a little more old school but still gives you a strong dose of CBD, consider the Cashy’s Honey Hash Balls from CannaSol. CannaSol Farms, one of the very first farms to make it on Theorem’s shelves, is a Clean Green Certified company that prioritizes ethical and sustainable growing practices. To gain a Clean Green Certification, a company must have some of the cleanest, most ethically grown cannabis grown in the state of Washington; they must have all of their processes and materials monitored and tested to uphold a set of standards very similar to that of organic certification. Because cannabis is not seen as a legitimate agricultural crop by the USDA, the CGC certification is as close as cannabis can get to organic. The Hash Balls from CannaSol are made by heating and compressing kief, the powdery crystals found on cannabis flower. Cashy’s Honey is a celebrated high CBD strain, with about 2 times as much CBD as it has THC; the presence of some THC gives this strain a very relaxing, soothing effect, while keeping the user alert and functional. Hash Balls are easy to manipulate and pull apart, making them great for topping bowls of flower or putting in joints. These are a good option for those who enjoy classic means of consumption but would like to experience the potency of a concentrate. Priced at $25/g and typically testing around 35-40% total cannabinoids, hash balls are a good in-between flower and concentrates both in price and in potency, making them a great option for someone trying to dip their toes into the world of concentrates.

Fairwinds High CBD Full Extract Oil
10:1 High CBD FECO Applicators from Fairwinds

If you are looking for an easy-to-dose product that gets you all the benefits of the cannabis plant in one product, give the 10:1 High CBD FECO Applicators from Fairwinds a try! FECO stands for Full Extract Cannabis Oil – think of it as juicing the entire cannabis plant. This product is the first oil available on the market that includes not only a full spectrum of cannabinoids, terpenes, and lipids, but also the water-soluble components of the plant which is quite literally the juice of the plant! This is important because of a concept called the Entourage Effect, which essentially means that the different parts of the cannabis plant work together to maximize each part’s bioavailability and overall effectiveness, making each part of the plant stronger together than they are apart. This is why many high CBD tinctures and capsules on the I502 market contain just a little THC; combining THC and CBD together makes them both more effective than they are on their own. Once all parts of the plant are combined as they are in this product from Fairwinds, this effect is even more pronounced. Each applicator contains 40 consistent, easy-to-dose servings with 10x as much CBD as THC (8mg and 0.8mg). The THC per serving is low enough that one serving will not have any psychoactivity, but will help the CBD and all the other components be the best they can be. This product is made up of 20% terpenes, which are essential oil-like molecules that have therapeutic properties than can support wellness and further help to optimize the effectiveness of this product. Fairwinds prioritizes making standardized products that consumers can depend on, which becomes clear when you see their easy-to-use packaging and precise, consistent dosing. All products from Fairwinds are Department of Health compliant, meaning they have been rigorously tested and proven to meet the DOH’s standards for healthy cannabis products.

Our staff is ready to help you find the right CBD concentrates for your needs. Tell us a bit about what you are looking for, and we can recommend options from our range of CBD products.
