Get Cozy Inn Kenmore

Kenmore has some radical neighbors.
In addition to the lake, this lovely landscape plays host to rich history and characters. Did you know Kenmore was a social epicenter during the 1930s liquor prohibition? Kenmore became a destination for Seattle residents seeking libations. If law enforcement chose to bust the party, contraband was easily dumped in the lake or boats. While we don’t condone dumping, it otherwise sounds like a pretty epic era packed into a bar stool history lesson.  

How did we come across this local folklore? Lucky for us our neighbor happens to be the oldest bar in Kenmore, serving up Northwest history and drinks since 1937. The Cozy Inn is perched on the edge of the Burke Gilman Trail, with a stellar view of Lake Washington. The people only amplify the charm. It’s challenging to sum up the range of experiences found at this Kenmore watering hole. Partly “dad jokes”, part dive clubhouse, part scenic vista, lil bit pool hall, no liquor, loads of opinions, and good vibes. It will all make sense when you visit. Post up on the patio at “The Cozy” and enjoy your neighbors.
